Most Subjective Best Things in 2007 – Happy

No, not another year review! Now when all others have already done their 2007 reviews and best of lists it’s time for me to wake up in the middle of January and do my short serie of Most subjective Best Things in 2007. I’m writing only about few things those really did matter to me.

Must be said that I’ve not been following Koharu Kusumi’s progress in her solo career as Tsukishima Kirari closely. One reason for that is because I don’t care so much about Kirarin Revolution anime series.

I’ve always seen Koha as “just another MM girl” with slight interest on her. Tsunku’s Miracle Girl has never been miraculous in my books. She is cute, her singing is developing more decent as it was in the begining and, to be honest, I’ve liked both her solo Photo Books. But Koha, as a whole package, has not convinced me. Not until I happened to browse my downloaded stuff in the end of December.

I was searching some Morning Musume’s 10th anniversary related clips from my DVD archive when I saw there Koha’s Happy PV. Because it was burned on DVD I must have seen it before at least once but I didn’t remember what kind of PV it was. I didn’t even remember how that song goes. So I decided to watch it once again. Hah ha, there I sat and played it over and over again.

Excited about the song itself as it really is a catchy tune. Happy goes straight into your head and makes you almost sick because it’s stuck in your mind like never ending loop. Excited also about Koha’s cheery performance in that PV. She does quite simple dance choreography there but I like it as it is. Happy is a song that makes me happy, what more can you ask. That’s why I’ve been wathing this PV almost daily after I re-discovered it 17 days ago.

As you know, every now and then this kind of surprising awakening can happen to anyone. For some reasons you ignore something and then all of a sudden: BANG! Biggest bang for me was when I fell in love with Berryz Kobo when saw their PV Special Generation few years ago. I’m not yet 100% Koha fan but sure thing is that I’m not going to ignore her any more.
