Hangry&Angry in the land of Moomin

by Zush

Rainy and chilly Monday evening at Tavastia Club in Helsinki, Finland.

First of all I was a bit surprised that there came only roughly 200 Hangry&Angry fans to witness this historical event. This was the very first time when any current or former Hello! Project members were giving a concert in Finland. So we all who were there can proudly tell to our children’s children that “I was there when Hitomi and Rika landed to the soil of Finland”.

Although the crowd in Tavastia Club was small the atmosphere was hot and people went completely bananas when Hitomi and Rika accompanied with Finnish DJ Alicia jumped to the stage. Before the actual concert they showed several videos on big screen. Those funny clips were kind of “History of Hitomi & Rika” (commented with Nono, Ai and Risa) and there we saw even Rival PV from Berryz Kobo.

Eleven songs were on H&A’s set list this evening. All sounding much heavier and rougher than their recorded versions. When I watched and listened H&A’s really too short show, I kept thinking how cool it would be if they could have real rock band with them in concerts. This kind of music almost begs to be played with a real live band. Just like Buono! has done. I think it could also increase H&A’s so-called street- or rock credibility. Don’t get me wrong, Hitomi and Rika are cool there but it could be even cooler with a band.

After the last song, which was furious and almost nerve-wracking version of Morning Musume oldie The Peace, some lucky fans from the sweaty crowd got chance to ask questions from Hitomi and Rika. It was quite funny when Rika said she loves Moomin when the question was what they know or think about Finland (or something like that). Yes, so many Japanese girls indeed love Moomin. Another question was about what kind of songs they would like compose if they ever gonna do such and again Rika was the quick one and said “Rock” making horns with her fingers at the same time. OK Rika, you roxx!

I had my nine years old Sony digital camera with me and now when I watch these snaps I can’t do nothing but admit that it’s about time for me to get a new decent camera before my Paris trip. This Sony is a relic and the quality of these photos really suck. Anyways, I’m posting here some crappy shots, because, as said before, this is history.

JKLM? MBK? BMK?

by Zush

This is a bit surprising but also super cool news. It was just announced on Chinese TV show “Music Story in Japan” that JunJun, LinLin, Miyabi & Koharu are the new Hello! Project special unit. This quartet is raised especially for the Shanghai World Expo concerts taking place in Shanghai on June 22 and 23.

In this clip from the show JunJun and LinLin decided first to take Miya in the group and after that they all ended up asking also Koha to join with them. This special unit does not have name yet but JunJun already suggested that it could be MBK. Why not JKLM? Or SCC as Suppa Cool Chicks?

Anyways, there is already up  a web page @ Music Story’s site where you can request a name for this special unit.

The next question is of course: What songs this quartet is going to sing in those upcoming concerts? And then: Is this unit only for these concerts or is it gonna live longer? I’m pretty hopeful that Up-Front International is gonna have those concerts recorded and later published on DVD.

And hey, great to have Koha back live on stage!

22 x Koha

by Zush

So this is how things still are. Koharu Kusumi is dominating this blog and even more so now when she is not any more a Morning Musume. Every day I go and check her blog because I have an addiction. Is it her big eyes, erotic upper lip or tight booty? Maybe all that and much more. Now my only wish is that Koha could move from that kids TV show to the television with more grown-up stuff. I guess she is popular in OhaStar but I still don’t care to watch that show.

Let’s see what I’ve gor for you. Here I’ve chosen 22 of my most favorite photos from Koha’s blog entries in May 2010. I just love these snaps. Koha with and without make up. Always lovely.

Another question from Tsunku

by Zush

Tsunku’s Twitter posts are mainly quite random small-talky tweets but every now and then comes out more interesting stuff. Like this one posted on May 12:

“Would everyone like a Jun Jun photobook??”

Tsunku gave me a good reason to answer his tweet:

“@Tsunkuu YES please, we want it VERY much! Give us JunJun’s debut photobook!”

JunJun sure deserves to have her first PB. You can be sure that AS it’s released I’m one of those thousands who is definitely getting it. Another H!P member who deserves to have her debut PB is Captain Saki from Berryz Kobo! All other BK girls have already had one or more solo PBs published so Saki is still the only one without PB.

And as we are now talking about PBs, here’s my third wish aimed to Tsunku: It’s really about time for Miyabi Natsuyaki to have her 2nd photobook! Her debut PB was released exactly 3 years ago. During that period Risako Sugaya has had 3 PBs. Don’t get me wrong. I have all 4 Rii’s photobooks.

Coming soon: Morning Musume live in Paris

by Zush

Now this is what I call SUPER COOL NEWS! Makes me feel again so unreal but it’s not a dream either this time. Let’s see what Morning Musume girls have to say to us.

http://www.dailymotion.com/videoxd6yzh

Yes, Morning Musume is coming to Paris as 11th Japan Expo’s Guests of Honor in the beginning of next July. So for the first time on the European soil Morning Musume is giving a concert on Friday 2nd of July at the Parc d’Expositions in Paris-Nord Villepinte.

I don’t have ticket to this historical event yet but you can start guessing am I going to get an access to that show one way or another. Because, after all, Morning Musume is one of those few Japanese groups which drove me into a complete new musical world in the end of 90′s. And the rest is, should I say, history. As is Morning Musume’s first trip to Europe.

by Zush

This is the launch of Kakko-ii Blog’s new “kind of news” column. I gues the title is quite self explanatory. Maybe. Anyways, here we go under this title for the first time.

Sayu’s massage service

On Morning Musume’s America’s First Landing Live FC DVD there is a footage where Sayu is massaging Eri’s loins and back. You can read from Eri’s face that it felt so good. And the dialog between Eri and Sayu was quite interesting. If sweet Sayu ever starts her massage service I’m finally moving to Japan and become her loyal customer. Welcome to Sayumi’s Massage Salon!

What’s the point?

You sure can ask what’s the point bringing together these snap shots from Koharu Kusumi’s and Tomomi Itano’s (AKB48 Team K) blogs. Point there is but can you guess what it is?

This is absurd

Now when Hangry&Angry are hitting to European club stages in May there has been signs of growing jealousy amongst Japanese H!P fans. Right, we should not   overgeneralize this thing because it was only ONE bashing jealous comment on this subject @ Interntaional Wota but anyways it sounds so fucking absurd that Japanese wotas could be jealous over western fans who have so few chances to see ANY of their Japanese idols on their western home grounds.

Ah, HITOMI & RIKA, WELCOME TO HELSINKI, FINLAND!! We are waiting eagerly for your landing here.

Miya scores again!

by Zush

A couple of weeks ago I participated first time in Hello!Blog’s annual H!P Poll. The aim was to get all H!P girls in to desired order. As I do my H!P girls Top Ten ranking every now and then it wasn’t so difficult to do this polling thing although I had to find the right rank to all our 25 girls.

This new Top Ten looks almost the same as before. Only significant change is the rise of Kanon from S/mileage. 50% of these 10 girls come from Berryz Kobo. This score is so evident.

[1] MIYABI

It’s kind of strange that the only Hello! Project girl who has appeared in my nightly dream is still Koha. And even that has happened only once. Reason might be that I remember very few of my dreams after I wake up. But if you ask me who’s the girl in my daydreams then there is only one answer for that. I guess Miya just matches to the image I have in my head about a perfect girl in all possible ways. As I’ve felt this way now so many years it must be so. Perfect for me but not necessarily for you as things always are.

[2] RISAKO

Right after Miya it’s always Rii. I don’t mind her extra grams because she is with or without them always adorable. I’m completely charmed with her face. That’s not news but have you noticed that lately many more people have also become Risako fans?

[3] REINA

Yeah, Reinya! Still my number one Morning Musume grrrrrl. I’ve never loved cats as much as today. And extra kudos for her because finally she started her own blog few days ago.

[4] MAIMI

C-ute’s leader Maimi is so cool and hot lady that she’s driving my mind to the edge of chaos. Maybe you know what I mean.

[5] JUNJUN

Always having great fun with Junko. I really enjoy her appearances on various situations. I love her face, I love her sense of humor, I love her sensitiveness. I guess there is nothng I don’t love about her. Maybe I’ve said this before but I have a feeling that I could live with Junko happily ever after. Ehh, Miya, of course I mean it’s with you I would like to live happily ever after.

[6] CHINAMI

Every day Chii is getting more and more stunning. I wonder where do we end with this kind of progress.

[7] AIRI

Airi just turned to 16. Whatta hec!? She’s even 8 days younger than Rii. Class of 1994 rules.

[8] KANON

S/mileage’s young Kanyon is a newcomer on my list. As many others have already noticed Kanon has some Aibon-ish features on her face. Sometimes there are and sometimes not so much. But the main thing is that she is super cute. As I was ranking my favorite H!P groups S/mileage did quite well and took the third place and was even ahead C-ute. Now that’s something.

[9] MOMOKO

I don’t know any other idol girl like Tsugu-san. Momo is Momo and you better live with that fact or close your eyes, plug your ears and pretend that she is not there.

[10] YURINA

Most curious question of the day: Is Kumai-chan still getting taller? I mean… ehhh… I think even I’m now shorter than she. It woud be interesting to know her current height. So many gentle centimetres in that charming giant.

[11-25] THE REST

And after top ten comes the rest of the girls in this order: Sayumi, Yuuka, Chisato, Saki (BK), Saki (C), Maasa, Mai, Ayaka, Risa, Erina, Saki (S), Linlin, Eri, Ai and Aika.

In my H!P groups ranking Berryz Kobo is unsurprisingly at the top place. My whole Top 7 of this category looks like this:
